Election update – 9/8/2026

The injunction blocking the USPS mail ballot rule is still in effect. The case has been appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court, but the court did not rule on the merits (regarding the Executive Order or the USPS rule.) We are monitoring the situation closely.

VOTERS may proceed with their mail in ballot, or cancel it and vote in person if they prefer. Both options remain available as this time. No immediate changes to mail ballot processes are required. Voting by mail in Pennsylvania is already secure. We are committed to the process remaining that way, while we also comply with Pennsylvania law and protect our voters’ private information.
