As the Recorder of Deeds, we provide the following services:
- Record deeds, right of ways, mortgages, satisfactions, and other documents
- File notary information
- File DD-214s
E-Recording: We accept documents using CSC.
As the Register of Wills, we provide the following services:
- Probate estates and grant letters of administration and letters of testamentary
- Act as an agent for filling and paying inheritance taxes
As the Clerk of the Orphans’ Court, we provide the following services:
- Issue and maintain records of marriage licenses
- Maintain the dockets and records for adoptions, guardianships, and other Orphans’ Court cases
- File Accountings/First & Finals
This office has birth and death records from 1893 through 1906. Those after 1906 are filed with the Pennsylvania Vital Records.
